Our software groups include:
- Core: Ensuring scale and reliability of our existing product stack.
- Growth: Building new products and capabilities that delight our customers.
- Network: Building systems that empower brands to get product data to retailers.
As a Software Engineer at Salsify you will be entrusted to:
- Innovate and constantly improve our products to deliver a platform and experience our customers love to use.
- Solve complex business and scalability problems.
- Help define the direction of the product.
- Work across the entire Salsify technology ecosystem.
Our engineers are simultaneously scaling a demanding application while simplifying complex business processes for our users and learning from top engineers along the way.
The Core PIM team at Salsify is responsible for the scale and reliability of all of our existing PIM functionality, from product import and management, to workflow, audits, and user management, through to syndication to our growing network of retailers.
Front End engineers on the Core PIM team have the opportunity to impact both our customers and Salsify’s entire engineering department as they:
- Simplify our FE ecosystem.
- Address the highest value needs of our users.
- Improve our libraries and tools to support FE development across the company.

How You'll Make an Impact:
- Building and maintaining the client-facing application of our data exchange platform using technologies like:
- Ember.js
- React
- TypeScript/ES2020+
- Collaborate closely with UX designers to translate design concepts into seamless and visually compelling user interfaces.
- Grow as a leader both on the team and within the broader engineering organization.
- Participate in tech talks and guilds to exchange ideas and strategies that advance our ability to build quality software.

You'll Enjoy This Role If You Have:
- 3+ years of experience working as a Frontend Software Engineer in a strong engineering environment.
- Experience building and debugging single page web applications powered by JSON/GraphQL.
- Knowledge and genuine curiosity about frontend development.
- An interest in creating delightful user experiences.
- Comfort transforming UX mockups into semantic markup and performant interfaces.
- Familiarity with test driven development and continuous integration.
- Comfort providing and receiving feedback on implementation ideas.
- Fluency in English.
Bonus skills:
- Experience with Ember or React is a plus, but not required.
- Experience designing single-page applications in a B2B software company is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with Design Systems.
