Data Engineer Job Description

• Develop and maintain ETL processes to support data integration and data movement across systems.

• Design, implement, and optimize data models in SQL, MySQL, PostgressSQL for efficient storage and retrieval of data.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide innovative solutions.

• Utilize programming languages such as Python, Scala to automate data workflows and perform data analysis tasks.

• Manage and optimize data pipelines using tools like Hive, Hadoop for large-scale data processing.
  
  

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Proven experience in SQL, MySQL, PostgressSQL for data manipulation and querying.

• Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and ETL processes.
  
  

Desired Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in data engineering roles.

• Experience with Python, Scala for data scripting and automation.
