About the Role

You will join the C3PO team, focused on empowering users to create and contribute content through scalable backend infrastructure. This role is pivotal to the Poster Experience, which drives core product metrics through fast, smart content participation. You’ll lead the migration of critical microservices from Python to Go, ensuring performance, consistency, and clean rollout across millions of actions daily.

What You’ll Do

· Lead the design and migration of backend microservices (Python → Golang)

· Write high-performance code and APIs to handle high-throughput, distributed systems

· Ensure functional parity between legacy and new systems using robust monitoring and validation

· Collaborate with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams across time zones

· Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and documentation

· Participate in planning, architecture reviews, code reviews, and sprint cycles

· Design resilient, scalable services that serve millions of users daily

What You’ll Bring

· 8+ years of backend software development experience

· Proven track record in Python and Golang, including large-scale migrations

· Experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, and distributed systems

· Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Memcached, and SQL/NoSQL databases

· Strong knowledge of testing, CI/CD, A/B testing, and release strategies

· Clear, proactive communicator in a fully remote, collaborative environment

Bonus Points

· Experience with user-generated content platforms or social products

· Prior involvement in performance monitoring or observability for large-scale rollouts
